So today I worked at 5pines. I helped in the kitchen, so I saw food all morning. "Ma" (Mrs. Scofield) and I had a long conversation over theology and denominations. Conclusion of the discussion: most churches don't teach what their own denomination actually believes, thus causing people to redefine the denomination by what the majority of churches teach, not by what denomination's actual doctrine is.
We finished up all the clean up from lunch early so I tried calling home, but the phone line was busy. Mrs. Scofield took me to her house next door and we looked at genealogies and old letters. It was amazing. I really want to go and research my genealogy.
It was good to be back at 5pines. I always feel at home when I'm there. The Scofields are like grandparents to me, the staff like family.
