The man offers to dance with the lady. The man guides the woman to the dance floor. The man leads, the woman follows. The woman has to completely trust the man and rely on his judgement in order for the dance to go smoothly. Each partner has their weaknesses and their strengths, each sacrificing themselves for the one to allow the dance to continue.
Ballroom dancing is a lot like marriage.
